Following my friend Lois Capps' endorsement of Barack Obama, it became clear that I had done her and other delegates a disservice by not disclosing information I witnessed at the Texas caucuses, and that endorsements should be made with the benefit of this information. After her endorsement, I wrote to Rep. Capps so that she can be fully informed in the event that delegates are forced to shift from one candidate to the other as the party forms a consensus behind the stronger of the two candidates.
I need to point out that I am not on the Hillary for President campaign staff, and that the campaign has gone to significant lengths to keep this dirty laundry out of the press. However, it is my strong feeling that we should not withhold evidence of crime, particularly since it is inconsistent with the public Obama image of being above "anything it takes to win," and it sheds significant light onto the otherwise puzzling difference between the popular vote and caucus results. Here are excerpts from my letter to Rep. Capps.

GRANTS PASS, Ore. (AP) -- Hillary Rodham Clinton is bringing to Oregon the small-town strategy that helped her win Pennsylvania's Democratic presidential primary.
Josh Kardon, chairman of Clinton's Oregon steering committee, says she has been doing well with working class, union and rural voters, and plans to take her Oregon campaign to places presidential candidates never go.
Very good. In one of the very few polls, SUSA has Hillary down by 10% in the state, but down 30% in rural Oregon. The campaign can blunt that significantly, or even flip it.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Democrat Barack Obama's presidential campaign on Saturday repudiated a liberal talk show host's description of Sen Hillary Clinton as a big f*cking whore, a comment made to an audience of Obama supporters.
Randi Rhodes, host of a nationally syndicated radio program that is based in New York City, was warming up the crowd Friday at a $100 (64)-a-person fundraiser for the San Francisco supporters of Obama supporters when he tagged the presidential candidate as a a "big f*cking whore."
New information uncovered by Tennessee Guerrilla Woman indicates that Randi Rhodes' Green960 Imus/Limbaugh imitation was not just a radio station event, but was promoted on Barack Obama's website.

In a blog post that has been endlessly recirculated today, LA Times reporter/blogger Andrew Malcolm, trumpeted the following headline:
Breaking News: Pro-Clinton push poll erupts in California
The problem? If you read his story, none of his headline is true. Great job LA Times.
Media Whore* Malcolm tells the breaking(!!!) story of a Clinton(!!!) erupting push poll(!!!).
